XL-HBW128C

Bridge 128Mbps, 2x Coax, Master MDU

HPNA 3.0 Ethernet bridge over coaxial cable. Master control unit for up to 15 slave units (XL-HB128C). Transfer speed up to 128Mbps, up to 64 devices over same coax cable, it can coexist with TV signal. Ports 2x RJ-45 10/100Base-TX, switching, 2x F female. F reduction cable included. Web/SNMP management, diagnostic function for all individual slave unit connections,  QoS filtering.



 

XL-HBW128C is master control unit for distributing Ethernet in public coaxial lines. Only one master unit XL‑HBW128C is used in all cable segment. Their slave units are XL-HB128C. In one segment it can control up to 15 slave units.

Note: XL-HBW128C is not necessary for common Ethernet distribution with XL-HB128C units. However XL-HBW128C adds diagnostics functions, web management, can control connection every slave unit in the same segment and upgrades its firmware.

Device diagnostics makes it possible to set up quality for every end node (set SNR[db] ) and for that reason it is very useful.

Unit also converts services on the coaxial line to controlled synchronous mode with adjusted priorities. 

Practical experiences show 15% speed rise compared to lines with XL-HB128C only.
